Why Human Design?

I’m a self-discovery enthusiast, with Human Design being my absolute favorite tool on the journey back to myself. It helped me shift mindsets, habits, and perspectives that completely changed me—and the entire trajectory of my life.

Here’s how it started…

In my 20s, I hit one of my lowest points. I had just ended a 7-year relationship that was really toxic. I was relieved to be out—but I was also lost. I didn’t know who I was anymore. I just knew I couldn’t keep repeating the same patterns. I knew I wanted more. I knew I deserved better.

And in that moment, I made a choice:

I could either stay bitter about everything I had been through… or I could be better.

I chose better.

Because I had already spent too many years feeling everything but happiness.

So, I became a bit of a hermit. I pulled back from the noise so I could finally hear myself. I dove deep into understanding who I really was and how I actually wanted my life to feel.

It started small.

Reading and journaling during my train rides to work, or on my lunch breaks.

I started facing myself—like, really facing myself. I got honest about my patterns. My pain. My people-pleasing. My fear. I asked the hard questions. I set intentions.

And it helped…

But there were still patterns, habits, and emotional themes that felt confusing or hard to break. I knew I wanted to heal, but I didn’t always know how to access the deeper layers.

Then a couple of years later—Human Design found me.

I was deep in another phase of self-inquiry, asking myself why I knew I was valuable, but still felt so unseen, unappreciated, and undervalued in so many parts of my life - a theme that I resonated with often.

And bam—there it was.

Human Design explained everything.

Astrology was cool, but this made instant sense.

I felt seen.

I felt understood.

I dove down the Human Design rabbit hole… and never came out. 😅 And honestly, I’m so glad I didn’t.

Now I feel confident.

I don’t seek external validation.

I understand my worth, and I set boundaries that honor it.

I finally realized what I had been doing “wrong” before—I wasn’t living in alignment with my unique energy. I wasn’t honoring my Strategy or Authority. I wasn’t waiting for the invitation.

And as a Projector that’s the foundation of how I feel seen, valued, and recognized.

That was just the beginning.

The deeper I went into the layers of my Human Design chart, the more clarity and empowerment I found. I started honoring me—and everything began to shift.

Human Design, essentially, is your energetic blueprint. It’s a deep, layered map of who you are—how your energy works, how you’re designed to make decisions, relate to others, use your voice, manage your time, and navigate the world.

It has a lot of components, and I won’t lie—it can definitely look overwhelming when you’re first introduced to it. All the shapes and numbers and arrows? Whew. But y’all… it’s SO. GOOOOOOD. 🔥

I fell in love with it because of how it helped me. It helped me finally understand myself.

And from that moment, I knew I needed to create a space where other people could learn this tool and use it on their own growth journeys.

So… here we are.

Four years later. Still in love with this work.

And so proud of the space I’ve built to support other souls ready to come home to themselves.

This post is already longer than I intended (classic Projector rant 😅), so I’ll dive deeper into what Human Design actually is in the next post.

See ya there 💛

How Human Design Changed My Life:

• I finally stopped seeking validation and started trusting myself.

• I shifted toxic patterns and beliefs that were keeping me stuck.

• I learned how to make aligned decisions that actually feel good.

• I stopped people-pleasing and started setting soul-honoring boundaries.

• I now live, work, and love in a way that feels like me—not who I thought I had to be.
